Casa Juancho - Spanish Cuisine. Casual Elegance. SW 8th St. Best Paella and Arroz Marinero in town. Reservations recommended.

Las Palmas - Spanish Cuisine. Coral Gables. Very good. Reservations recommended.

Versalles – Cuban, casual . SW 8th St. Very good.

Yuca - Gourmet Cuban. It is pretty good with a great dessert's menu. There is one in Coral Gables and another location on Lincoln Rd. Reservations recommended.

Pacific Time - Asian (Mix of Japanese/Thai/ Vietnamese). Lincoln Rd. Excellent restaurant. Do not go there if you are very hungry. Portions are very Small portions. Best desserts menu. PT doesn't have a children menu but they will prepare something upon request.

News Café – South Beach. Great breakfast menu. Incredibly popular since it used to be Versace's favorite breakfast hang out.

Van Dyke’s Café – Lincoln Rd. Same owners/same menu as News Café. Brazilian Jazz upstairs on Sunday nights.

Da Vinci's - Italian. Excellent food. It is located North of Bal Harbour, off Collins Ave. Reservations recommended.

Tiramisu. Italian. Lincoln Rd. Very good. Huge portions. If you have small kids, two of them can easily share a pasta dish and you'll have left overs.They also have a sister "pizzeria" a couple of blocks away. It is great for children. Depending on your server and how busy they are, you might or might not order pizza at Tiramisu.

World Resources - Japanese/Asian. Lincoln Rd. Great food

Lario's - Cuban (Gloria Estefan's restaurant) South Beach. More than the food, it has a great ambiance. There is always live music.

Bongo's - Cuban (Gloria Estefan's restaurant) at the American Airlines Arena in Bayside. It is new and of course, fashionable. Good food and music. The children will like it. There is also one in Disney World - in case you are going there!

Attractions

Bayside - Great place to go for a walk, shop, drink, and listen to latin music. Very Picturesque, like any other open mall on a Bay, plus the latin touch. Restaurants: Latin American Cafeteria (cuban), Los Ranchos (Nicaraguan) and Hard Rock Café among others. Boat cruises and Casino boats depart from this location. .

Lincoln Road – Beautiful boulevard with galleries, restaurants, and shops (open until 11:00pm). Arts festival/farmers market every Sunday. Adults ambiance after hours.

South Beach – The heart of Miami Beach! Great restaurants. They are usually shooting movies or TV ads in SOBE. There is a big playgound on the beach side.

Coconut Grove - Beautiful area. Family oriented. Live music near the Mayflower shopping center. Lots of cafes and restaurants.

Miami Seaquarium - Key Biscayne Causeway - Kids will love it.

Miami Museum of Science - Great for Children. They currently have a wonderful exhibition of Sharks http://www.miamisci.org/sharks/index.html The site has directions and coupons.

Riverwalk - Fort Lauderdale - Just like Bayside, it is located along a canal, and it has lots of restaurants, live music. etc.

Ft. Lauderdale Children's Museum - Around the corner from the Riverwalk – Ft. Lauderdale.

Parrot Jungle - a must see for the children http://parrotjungle.com/index.html The site has the directions and coupons. A new Parrot Jungle opened last summer.
